Spencer Pratt is well-known as the former boyfriend-now husband of Heidi Montag.
Pratt and Montag pretended to elope on November 20, 2008 to Mexico, although it was later determined that this "marriage" was not recognized by U.S. authorities.
Montag, along with Spencer Pratt, have made a joint fortune of $ 3 million in the last two years alone thanks to TV salaries, club appearances, photo shoots, and business deals.
Montag's reality TV career began with a few appearances on season two of MTV's Laguna Beach.

On the Season 2 finale, Montag moved out of her apartment with Conrad to live with Pratt.
On November 20, 2008, Montag and Pratt had a marriage ceremony in Mexico. No family members were present and the wedding ceremony lasted 15 minutes. But Spencer decided to give Heidi the big wedding she has always wanted, and so they are just engaged.
